Google Earth has a new feature that allows you to visualize the development of South Florida. If you grew up in Palm Beach County or have lived here for a number of years, you know how much growth and expansion has occurred. The Post has made it easy to see how cites and towns of the count have grown from 1980s until now. According to U.S. Census data the county has grown from 576,863 residents to 1,320,134 in 2010, and is still growing. View the time-lapse
From a real estate perspective this means home prices are on the rise. This October the median sales price of single family homes in Palm Beach County stood at $310,000, up from $285,000 in October of 2015, that's almost a 9% increase. This bodes well for homeowners, but could be a disadvantage for first time homebuyers. Potential buyers and sellers will need a dedicated team of professionals to help them navigate the next few months, this is where I can help.
